Five Oasis Academy Coulsdon students took part in the London, Surrey, Kent & Essex area DanceMode annual Streetdance competition last weekend and all of them were placed at least once!
From Year 10, Eleanor Connolly achieved 2 first places (Doubles and Team) and a second place (Solo);
Lucy Earl Day achieved 2 first places (Doubles and Team) and a third place (Solo).
From Year 7, Lana-Rose Palmer achieved 1 fouth place (Doubles), Jade Poulden achieved 2 third places (Solo and Doubles), and Georgia Poulier achieved a fourth place (Doubles).
The Seniors Team competition was particularly exciting as the team from Mitcham have won the title for the last five years. The team from Coulsdon, including Eleanor and Lucy, snatched the title from them with a fantastic routine to huge cheers from the whole audience and made their supporters extremely proud.
Well done, to all of the Oasis dancers who performed with great style throughout the competition.
