We are developing extended links with Coulsdon College and there will be opportunities for Sixth Form students to attend seminars, conventions and work collaboratively on projects with students from the College.
Our sister Academy in Croydon is also opening a Sixth Form in 2011 and we will be planning some joint activities, such as Young Enterprise, Duke of Edinburgh Award, University visits, with students from their 6th Form.
Involvement in voluntary work is widely recognised by universities, employers and greatly enhances curriculum vitas. Students throughout the Academy are encouraged to become involved in Community projects as part of their Service Arc. In the Sixth Form we link with a number of volunteer organisations and also organise a Volunteer Convention when companies and charities seeking volunteers provide information on schemes available for students.
For example you could:
Become a volunteer for Whitgift SNAP, Special Need Activity Project, which caters for young people of Croydon with learning and/or physical disabilities and provides a two week summer activity project based at Whitgift School, South Croydon
Become a volunteer and help manage and maintain one of the local commons owned by the City of London, eg West Wickham & Coulsdon Common, Kenley Common, Spring Park
There are many opportunities for Sixth Form students to become involved in the wider Oasis Community and support International projects throughout the world. Some students may want to consider taking a ‘gap’ year before joining University or starting work and with our extended family links the Academy is ideally placed to help you find the right project with which to become involved.

Aye mate! And welcome to limbo! Problem: I have no idea what page you're trying to work on. You need to define a body ID in the template, then turn on the necessary rows and columns in layout.css. Arrrrgh!
