Peripatetic Music Teachers

Do you teach a musical instrument?

Applications are invited for instrumental teachers to come and deliver high quality, fun and engaging lessons at Oasis Academy Coulsdon. The Academy has recently completed its £18 million rebuild and houses fantastic music accommodation including several practice rooms, recording studio, recital space and teaching spaces. The Music Department is now in the exciting position of expanding its music peripatetic service which offers competitive rates of pay, a great environment and opportunities to grow your timetable. It is expected that successful candidates will contribute to the wider Academy life and time will be awarded to support extra-curricular groups and concerts. You must be able to:

  • Engage with students using interesting materials

  • Constantly work with students to complete examinations such as ABRSM, Trinity Rock School etc.

  • Complete termly reports to help support the student's technical development.

  • Actively promote and encourage music lesson take up

  • Involve yourself in the enrichment activities of the Academy

We are looking for teachers who can teach Guitar/Bass, Drums, Woodwind (Flute, Clarinet/Sax), Brass (Trumpet, Trombone), Voice and Piano/Keyboard.
