Mr Pelling, Deputy PrincipalMr Pelling is currently on a secondment with Oasis Community Learning.Find out what Mr Pelling loves about working in education... "I started teaching over twenty five years ago and was a Head of English and Head of Year before moving into a leadership post at Oasis Academy Coulsdon. I got into teaching because I wanted to share my love of English with others and help to transform the life chances of young people. I love working in education because no two days are the same. Working with behaviour and safeguarding gives me the chance to support young people in making better choices in order to be more successful. Having days when parents or students tell you that something you have done has made a real difference makes it all worthwhile. I teach English and enjoy sharing my love of texts with students and showing them the power of literature and how good literacy skills open doors of opportunity for us all."
