Pastoral Care

At Oasis Academy Coulsdon, we consider our approach to pastoral care to be a tangible expression of our ethos.

This is a school that cares about its Pupils.... Pupils are safe and happy here.

Our Family Year Group structure means that our students receive high quality pastoral care. Mentors stay with their Mentor Group for the five years students are with us which means staff are able to get to know students very well and they meet daily to provide advice and support. Our holistic approach to education means that we work closely with other services; counselling is available through our Well Being Centre which also provides advice, guidance and support on medical matters. Careers advice and support is coordinated by Ms Kennison where a comprehensive programme of workshops, college and university visits and taster days, and career information days has been created and implemented for students.
