Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Welcome to our new Year 7s!

We are so pleased you have chosen our Academy and can't wait to get to know you and your family. There will be lots of opportunities for us to meet before September so you will have every chance to get to know more about your new Academy and the exciting future ahead!

So that we can start to find out a little bit about you, please complete our quick questionnaire and email it to Mrs Leeson who will be talking with your primary teachers and schools over the next few months to find out about your learning needs and the progress you have made at primary school.  She will also be visiting many of you at your primary schools very soon. When you are filling in your questionnaire be sure to tell us about what subjects you enjoy and even those you’re not so keen on, so that we can start to plan your timetable.

As part of a holistic education we believe it is integral that all students embody the 9 Habits in order to lead successful lives and become responsible citizens.

We are guided by our Values, Mission and Vision in everything we do and you will quickly learn what it means to be part of our Oasis Family. We will help you develop key character traits and life skills. Your success and happiness is our number one priority. We will guide, support, motivate and inspire you; as we prepare you for a life of limitless potential. Students here say that “teachers never give up on us” and we promise that we never will.

Something to get you started in the Summer Holidays

We would like to get you into the swing of things with OA Coulsdon over the summer by setting you a couple of homework tasks which will be used in your transition when you arrive with us in September.

A special message to new Year 7 Parents

We are delighted you are joining our Family and very much look forward to welcoming you and your child to our information evening and induction days. We have the highest aspirations for every one of our students and are here to support, stretch, challenge and nurture your child to help them achieve their full potential. We are proud of our learning community and our standards are high - we are sure this is the reason why you and your child have chosen our Academy.

Students here are proud to be part of the Oasis family which extends right across the globe. We create many opportunities for students to succeed, whatever their ability. Every child really does matter to us and we work hard to ensure students are encouraged to live a life of limitless potential.
