Students following this pathway will all study: · English · Maths · Science · PSHE & Core RE · MFL (language chosen at Year 8)   They will then choose ONE Humanities subject: · Geography or · History   Students will then choose TWO subjects from the remaining option subjects.	Students following this pathway will all study: · English · Maths · Science · PSHE & Core RE   They will then choose ONE Humanities subject: · Geography or · History   They will also choose ONE BTEC Course: · Business Studies or · Health & Social Care   Students will then choose TWO subjects from the remaining option subjects.	Students following this pathway will all study: · English · Maths · Science · PSHE & Core RE   They will then choose ONE Humanities subject: · Geography or · History   Students will then choose TWO subjects from the remaining option subjects.   Students will also take part in Extra Studies and have the opportunity to complete their Functional Skills Certificate.

In order to submit your options form for your GCSE subjects of study as of September 2025, please ensure you have read all of the information below and contacted your subject teachers with any queries about courses.

Timeline for Options Process

6th March 2025	Options Evening
10th - 14th March 2025	One to One Student Interviews to take place in school- students will be notified of their appointment
24th & 31st March 2025	Parent Clinics: pre-bookable appointments only. Please click HERE* to book an appointment if you need further advice and support on the options process.
7th April - 21st April 2025	Easter Holidays
23rd April 2025	Deadline for submission of options form.

GCSE Options Forms 2025

These will be available once student One to One meetings have concluded. This delay in releasing the form is to ensure all students have given full consideration to all options, and also to ensure that subjects on a carousel of teaching have been delivered to all students prior to final decisions being made.

Please note: Once you begin to complete the form you will not be able to save it and come back to it later so please ensure you have enough time to complete the form when you start, and that you are sure of the options you wish to submit.
