Year 9 GCSE Options

All students will study the following subjects at GCSE in Key Stage 4:

  • English
  • Maths
  • Science
  • RE

Students will then choose one Modern Foreign Language (this will be the language they chose to continue to study at the end of Year 7):

  • French
  • Spanish

Students will then choose one Humanities subject:

  • Geography
  • History

Students can then choose two subjects from the following option subjects:

  • Art
  • Computer Science
  • Drama
  • Food & Nutrition
  • Media
  • Music
  • PE
  • Resistant Materials
  • Textiles

In KS4, students will also spend time studying PSHE, however, this will not be studied for GCSE examination.

Deadline for submission of options form.

 

GCSE Options Forms 2023

These will be uploaded once student One to One meetings have concluded. This delay in releasing the form it to ensure all students have given full consideration to all options, and also to ensure that subjects on a carousel of teaching have been delivered to all students prior to final decisions being made.

Please note: Once you begin to complete the form you will not be able to save it and come back to it later so please ensure you have enough time to complete the form when you start, and that you are sure of the options you wish to submit.
