Research driven approaches to teaching and learning are at the heart of what we do and we encourage staff to be innovative and forward thinking, whilst also developing solid practice. Workload considerations are always at the forefront of what we do; we encourage our teams to be inventive and to have freedom in their own professional development.
We passionately believe in the growth of our staff as individual practitioners and place high value on career progression within our family. A coaching programme for all teaching staff, at all levels of experience, means that staff get regular informal feedback on how to be the best practitioners they can be.
Regular training sessions based on teaching strategies that are known to work are a feature throughout our CPD calendar, and developing subject specific pedagogy is always of prominence. We run a number of courses through Oasis including the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leaders (NPQML), National Professional Qualification for Senior Leaders (NPQSL), and National Professional Qualification for Headteachers (NPQH).
