We are pleased to share that our academy will soon be introducing a therapy dog in training as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the wellbeing of all pupils
Otis will be highly trained and carefully supervised at all times. He will not interact freely with pupils and will only access designated areas of the academy where a full risk assessment has been carried out. We want to reassure you that the dog will not pose any risk to pupils or staff, and its presence will be managed with the utmost care and professionalism.
Otis will start his training in November, visiting the academy, weekly, to start getting used to all the sights, sounds and smells of the building.
